Jane S. McMillan has been a member of the Connecticut Bar since 1975. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut, U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, and the U.S. Tax Court. Attorney McMillan's practice concentrates primarily on corporations (profit and non-profit), estate planning, charitable giving, and probate administration. Her professional associations include the Executive Committee of the Estates and Probate Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Central Connecticut Estate Planning Council, the Greater Hartford Probate Forum, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc.TM and Leave A Legacy ® Connecticut.

Attorney McMillan serves as a Director of Oddfellows Playhouse, is a Corporator of Middlesex Hospital, and a member of the Hospital's Ethics Committee. Jane was elected the first Director Emeritus of the Middlesex County Community Foundation, an organization which she helped found in 1997. In particular, Attorney McMillan helped establish the Swaim String Program which teaches students in the third, fourth and fifth grades to play string instruments. Jane's outside interests include UConn Women's basketball, tennis and theater. She is the President of Vintage Players, Inc., a community theater group she founded in 1993.
